Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

The Registered Nurse is expected to ensure the delivery of safe and quality patient care. Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures. Administer medications accurately and safely. Document according to policies and procedures and demonstrate technical skills specific to the nursing unit.

• Provide care to patients in the Medical-Surgical Unit-II following unit policies and procedures.
• Administer medications accurately and safely; monitor patient responses and report changes promptly.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record as required.
• Collaborate with the health care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Current New Jersey RN license
• 1+ year of medical-surgical experience
• ASN or Nursing Diploma (Must agree to complete BSN within 5 years of hire date)
• BLS; ACLS

• BSN

• Per Diem – Days
• Weekend and holiday coverage as required
