Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (with flexible start and end times - must be consistent)

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

Responsibilities

+ Support the development of new diagnostic products, primarily immunoassays, through laboratory experiments and evaluation of reagents and biological materials

+ Conduct laboratory experiments, collect, analyze data, and assist with product improvements from concept to technology transfer

+ Evaluate reagents for prototype diagnostic development and biological samples for manufacturing and QC applications

+ Formulate and optimize immunoassay prototypes and perform analytical performance studies

+ Organize laboratory and clinical data for regulatory submissions and support technology transfer to manufacturing and quality teams

+ Design and execute laboratory experiments, maintain accurate documentation, and perform routine equipment maintenance

Requirements

+ Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related Life Science discipline

+ Strong laboratory pipetting skills and experience weighing chemicals and buffer formulation

+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point  

+ Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills

+ Basic laboratory skills such as pipetting and gravimetric measurement; previous industrial laboratory experience is a plus

+ Knowledge of immunoassay functions (ELISA, IFA, multiplex platforms) and analytical methodologies (SDS-PAGE, spectrophotometry)

+ Previous industry laboratory experience is not required but preferred

+ Recent graduates with strong laboratory coursework and hands-on bench skills are encouraged to apply

+ Highly desired skills include assay development, handling biological fluids, and experience with analytical laboratory techniques

+ Ability to work well within a collaborative team, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and organized
