Faculty Employment Opportunity - Lecturer
Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate upper and lower division courses in kinesiology and general education. Assignments may include one or more lectures and/or laboratory sections of the Kinesiology core courses.
Required Qualifications:
- M.S. or M.A. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated excellence teaching university-level kinesiology courses.
- Recognized professional certifications such as:
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
- NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT)
- National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
- Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP)
Rank and Salary
- Full-time is a 15-unit workload per semester.
- Salary commensurate with degree level and experience.
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month.
- Salary is prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments per semester.
- Appointments are on a semester‑by‑semester part‑time, temporary basis and contingent on departmental needs and funding.
