Pool For Part-time Lecturer, School Of Business
The School Of Business is looking to refresh our lecturer pool of professionals qualified to teach one or more of our accounting core, electives, or concentration course offerings.
Specific classes:
- BUS 230A — Financial Accounting (Intro)
- BUS 230B — Managerial Accounting (Intro)
- BUS 330A — Intermediate Accounting I
- BUS 330B — Intermediate Accounting II
- BUS 430 — Advanced Accounting
- BUS 434 — Auditing
- BUS 433A — Individual Taxation
- BUS 433B — Corporate and Estate Taxation
- BUS 435 — Cost Accounting
- BUS 438 - Advanced Data Analytics in Accounting
- BUS 535 — MBA Core:
Cost Control and Analysis
To be recommended for appointment, the candidate must have:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field. Extensive (10 years or more) experience may compensate for a lack of a Master's degree, in a specialized field (for example, tax or audit).
Salary commensurate with degree level and experience.
- Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month.
- The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salary range indicated above is prorated to the number of units worked and is paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
- Selection as a candidate in the applicant pool does not guarantee employment. Temporary Faculty appointments are made on a part-time, temporary basis and contingent upon department needs and funding.
- Temporary Faculty appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis.
- Relocation expenses will not be provided for temporary faculty appointments.
- Expenses incurred to attend an interview for temporary faculty positions are not reimbursed by the University.
