Tax Attorney – M&A, Private Equity, Fund Formation (Partner / Counsel / Associate)

Los Angeles or San Francisco

Our client’s team is seeking an experienced Tax Attorney to join their collaborative and high-performing group in Los Angeles or San Francisco. No portable book of business is required for this opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising corporate clients on tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, fund formation, and cross-border transactions. You’ll work with domestic and international public and private companies, as well as private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds, and distressed debt funds, on the tax aspects of mid- to large-scale transactions across a wide range of industries.

Ideal Background:

• Significant experience handling complex tax issues in M&A, fund formation, and private equity transactions.
• Strong technical understanding of partnership taxation, corporate restructuring, and international tax considerations.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Open to candidates at the Partner, Counsel, or Senior Associate level.
