A highly regarded California-based law firm with a nationally recognized public agency and employment practice is seeking a skilled Employment Litigation Attorney to join its expanding Labor & Employment team in Oakland.

The attorney will take an active role in all phases of employment litigation, working closely with experienced trial attorneys while maintaining substantial client contact and case responsibility. • Managing discovery strategy and execution
  • Preparing EEOC position statements and DFEH/CRD responses
  • Conducting witness interviews and depositions
  • Participating in trial and arbitration proceedings

In addition to litigation responsibilities, the associate will advise employers on compliance with federal and California employment laws, including:

This is an ideal role for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, sophisticated matters, and the opportunity to grow alongside a respected employment practice group serving both public and private sector employers.

  • Salary range: $160,000 – $250,000
