Clinical Educator - Specialty Practice

Role Overview:

The Clinical Educator is responsible for deploying staff education within a defined specialty, ensuring alignment with system initiatives, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices. They collaborate with subject matter experts to promote clinical excellence and system standards.

• Facilitate deployment and validation of system programs and initiatives within the specialty.
• Provide staff education, including just-in-time training, coaching, and resource support on clinical performance and documentation.
• Partner with department leaders and experts to identify educational needs and achieve organizational outcomes.
• Offer feedback to support clinical best practices and optimize electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Support onboarding processes, focusing on clinical performance and documentation, and participate in hospital committees.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related experience (preferred).
• Minimum of three years recent clinical experience in a specialty such as critical care, emergency, perioperative, or medical‑surgical (preferred).
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
• Current Advanced Life Saving certification as appropriate for the specialty.
• Specialty certifications are preferred.
