Special Education Teacher in Sonora, CA

• Valid CTC Certification in Moderate/Severe, ESN, or an equivalent credential (required)
• Previous experience with elementary‑aged students and moderate to severe needs preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with team members, students, and families
• Adaptable and energetic, with an enthusiasm for meeting diverse learning needs
• Willingness to embrace opportunities for growth and professional development

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each students Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Develop engaging lesson plans and materials that foster student growth and independence
• Assess student progress, maintain clear records, and adjust strategies as needed
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to optimize learning outcomes
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom environment
• Advocate for students academic and social needs within the school community

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
