Job DescriptionDelivers training and develops and monitors success measures. Educates staff regarding system changes, attends and conducts staff meetings, assists in the evaluation of staff job performance, provides support to staff and makes changes to processes when requested. Applies substantial knowledge of the job and experience to complete a wide range of activities with varying difficulty. Regularly works with sensitive and confidential information, often involving the interpretation of policies and procedures to guide use.
Job Requirements- High School Education/GED or equivalent:
Preferred - Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience:

- Completes training of new and existing staff on admitting policies, process changes and software updates. Coordinates and instructs any additional training that is needed for staff. Determines initial competency of new staff and gives supervisor feedback. Provides effective facilitation and training curriculum. Develops course materials, audiovisual materials, exercises and tests. Prepares course feedback and evaluation tools to measure effectiveness of courses.
- Disseminates information on all new regulatory procedures and ensures training on all new information. Ensure all training aligns with national and organizational standards of learning. Acts as a resource to staff for questions or assistance.
- Maintains Patient Access Manual including Patient Access policies. Maintains and updates documents. Manages and develops training materials with policies and procedures as a tool for clear and accurate training.
- Provides training classes to further education for all hospital registration departments. Communicates with staff to keep updated on new policies and procedures. Assesses training needs through survey questionnaires and interviews with supervisors to develop appropriate curriculum for courses.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
