Overview

Registered Nurse – ICU in Sonora, CA, beginning August 3, 2026 for a 6-week travel assignment. Earn $1,750–$1,845 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week on days, 12-hour shifts (3 days per week) in an inpatient ICU/acute care environment. This assignment is a temporary travel opportunity managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
  • Monitor patient status, administer medications, perform focused assessments, and respond to changes in condition.
  • Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring coverage and continuity of care.
  • Coordinate care with other disciplines, utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
  • Document care accurately, maintain patient safety, and adhere to infection control and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform nursing duties in an ICU/inpatient setting with appropriate clinical judgment.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to work the listed shift pattern (days, 12-hour shifts).
