Overview
Registered Nurse – ICU in Sonora, CA, beginning August 3, 2026 for a 6-week travel assignment. Earn $1,750–$1,845 per week with 36 guaranteed hours per week on days, 12-hour shifts (3 days per week) in an inpatient ICU/acute care environment. This assignment is a temporary travel opportunity managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Inpatient ICU/acute care environment (travel assignment)
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, perform focused assessments, and respond to changes in condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, ensuring coverage and continuity of care.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines, utilizing critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.
- Document care accurately, maintain patient safety, and adhere to infection control and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
- Ability to perform nursing duties in an ICU/inpatient setting with appropriate clinical judgment.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and manage competing priorities.
- Willingness to work the listed shift pattern (days, 12-hour shifts).
- 24/7 recruiter and travel support to assist with onboarding, credentialing, and housing logistics if applicable.
- Dedicated assignment coordination and onboarding resources.
- Ongoing support throughout the travel assignment with proactive communication.
- Potential for extension opportunities on future ICU travel openings (subject to facility needs and performance).
