• Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter support

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for geriatric patients per individualized plans of care; monitor, assess, and respond to clinical changes
• Coordinate orientation for new hires and mentor unit preceptors to support a positive learning environment
• Educate patients, families, and staff; facilitate patient advocacy, discuss care plans, and uphold patient rights and consent processes
• Develop and deliver clinical and classroom education using methods such as lectures, demonstrations, self-learning, and bedside teaching; maintain education records
• Maintain accurate documentation for education, competency records, and program tracking; support ongoing staff development and performance improvement
• Serve as a clinician and resource for nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams; help coordinate ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities

• Current, active Registered Nurse license in the state of California
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least two years of recent RN experience in geriatric, acute, or similar settings
• Education:
  
  BSN preferred; MSN preferred
• Experience with Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) education or Director of Staff Development background preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care environment and on an evenings shift

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Travel assignment with a defined 13-week contract
• Temporary assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting
