• Deliver coordinated nursing care for Med Surg patients using the nursing process and established standards
• Collect relevant data, analyze findings, and develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate progress
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and respond to changes with clinical judgment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; coordinate care with patients, families, and other providers
• Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning and smooth transitions of care
• Delegate appropriately and supervise assigned nursing staff; maintain a safe, healing environment
• Document care in the electronic medical record; support EMR workflows (EPIC and Cerner) as needed

• Licensure: RN license in the state of practice (California or relevant practicing state) required
• Certifications:
  
  BLS/CPR required; ACLS or ARC-ALS required
• Education:
  
  BSN preferred
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care/med-surg setting
• EMR:
  Experience with EPIC and Cerner preferred
• Vaccinations:
  As required by organizational policy; comply with vaccination requirements

• Guaranteed hours for the assignment
• Assignment support throughout the contract
• Weekly pay issued per week
