Short Term Acute Care Hospital
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for Med Surg patients using the nursing process and established standards
- Collect relevant data, analyze findings, and develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate progress
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and respond to changes with clinical judgment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; coordinate care with patients, families, and other providers
- Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning and smooth transitions of care
- Delegate appropriately and supervise assigned nursing staff; maintain a safe, healing environment
- Document care in the electronic medical record; support EMR workflows (EPIC and Cerner) as needed
- Licensure: RN license in the state of practice (California or relevant practicing state) required
- Certifications:
BLS/CPR required; ACLS or ARC-ALS required - Education:
BSN preferred - Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care/med-surg setting - EMR:
Experience with EPIC and Cerner preferred - Vaccinations:
As required by organizational policy; comply with vaccination requirements
- Guaranteed hours for the assignment
- Assignment support throughout the contract
- Weekly pay issued per week
