Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice:
  Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor:
  Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification:
  Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification:
  Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Analyze assessment data to determine patient diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop and implement a care plan, coordinating care delivery while promoting a safe health environment.
• Evaluate patient progress toward attaining health outcomes and collaborate with the care team to provide quality care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health issues and care plans.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
