Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides expert nursing care in the Emergency Room setting for a diverse patient population. Oversees and coordinates patient treatment, ensuring safe and effective delivery of emergency care while supervising nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly and accurately upon arrival to determine urgency of care.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical data.
• Implement interventions and administer medications following established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless treatment.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and health maintenance.
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to nursing staff in the ER environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Must have at least two years recent experience in emergency or acute care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Certification in ACLS and PALS as required for emergency or critical care.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
