DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license, EPIC experience, and ACLS/PALS certifications.
Details- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working 36-48 hours per week
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Minimum of 3 years of recent ER experience required, with experience within the last 3 months
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior disciplinary action on license permitted
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and develop care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote a safe, healing environment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as traveler candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
- Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
