Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care setting located in Sonora, California. • Provide general nursing care to assigned patients under supervision of an RN or MD, according to established policy
• Participate in planning for and provision of patient care; assist in developing a prioritized interdisciplinary plan of care
• Perform clinical procedures within scope (e.g., phlebotomy, injections, drug screens) and administer medications
• Maintain aseptic technique for dressings, wound care, and related treatments; monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Coordinate rounding and visits, assist in discharge planning, and deliver patient education per plan of care
• Restock and reorder supplies as needed; maintain neat, orderly clinical areas
• On-call duties may be assigned based on location and agency needs

• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of practice (California required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification (required)
• At least two years of recent nursing experience in the field
• Education:
  
  High School Education/GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred
• Ability to work in a short-term acute care travel assignment; weekend availability
• EPIC experience and recent hospice experience are preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred
