Summary:
Looking for an associate to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where every day is different. Primary duties will involve working in our warehouse assisting with putting away material on a daily basis.
Reports to:
Warehouse Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Willingness to learn how to cut wire and perform industry specific tasks in our warehouse is key.
- Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist
- Ability to work on concrete floor for entire shift
- Ability to climb ladders to pull material
- Basic math skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to operate various forklifts
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No
Essential Job Functions:
- Put away product into correct system generated primary stock location
- Find secondary/overflow location if primary stock location is full
- Coordinate with Lead to confirm suitability of secondary location
- Place product into appropriate rack locations
- Ensure all pallets put into racks are utilizing the correct system generated pallet configuration
- Maintain product rotation, ensuring the oldest product is picked first and product is rotated from secondary to primary locations
- Participate in daily cycle counts
- Operate the forklift as needed to complete project work.
- Maintaining the assigned work zone.
- Resolving discrepancies with appropriate departments.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Assign and distribute work through a computer.
- General housekeeping.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 hourly.
