This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Associate Counselor based in South Amboy, NJ. The Licensed Associate Counselor will work closely with clients to provide evidence-based therapy and support. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing counseling services, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The counselor will also participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision to ensure quality care and professional development.

• Strong skills in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing effective therapy
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation and adhering to confidentiality guidelines
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health counseling
• Hold a valid Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) credential in the state of New Jersey
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
• Experience in a clinical or community mental health setting is a plus
