Nurse Practitioner
Recovery Centers of America is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our clinical team. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the FNP provides high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and consultation, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role plays a vital part in promoting patient health, supporting recovery, and advancing RCA’s mission to save lives through comprehensive addiction and mental health care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct and document comprehensive medical assessments, histories, and physical exams
- Diagnose and treat patients, recommending appropriate lab tests, imaging, and medical interventions
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans, including Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe and effective patient care
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and recovery plans
- Participate in treatment planning, care coordination, and discharge planning
- Ensure all documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards
- Master’s Degree in Nursing and current State Nurse Practitioner License
- Registered Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required
- 5–7 years of nursing experience; substance use treatment experience preferred
- Strong understanding of addiction medicine, co‑occurring disorders, and detoxification protocols
- Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office Suite

- A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location.
