If you're ready to take on the challenge, Mid-States Concrete Industries is hiring top talent to join our growing concrete production team!
As a Concrete Production Team Member, you’ll be part of the core crew manufacturing high-quality precast concrete products including beams, columns, wall panels, solid slabs, and hollow core systems. This hands-on role in construction manufacturing involves reading tape measures and blueprints, assembling forms, placing rebar, and pouring concrete with precision.
Key Responsibilities in Concrete Production & Construction:
Build and assemble concrete forms for pouring structural precast products.
Install rebar, plates, mesh, and foam insulation according to construction plans.
Accurately read a tape measure and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure structural integrity.
Operate hand and power tools commonly used in concrete construction.
Stress and secure rebar strands for structural stability.
Ensure safety compliance on-site and encourage team-wide safety practices.
Maintain worksite cleanliness and support team productivity goals.
Assist with training of less experienced construction team members.
Work in all weather conditions and lift 50–100 pounds as required.
Concrete Construction
Job Requirements:
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Comfortable standing, lifting, kneeling, and operating on narrow surfaces up to 10 hours a day.
Ability to read a tape measure and interpret technical construction drawings.
Previous experience in concrete work, construction labor, or precast manufacturing is a plus.
