Process Engineer

Fives Group is seeking a Process Engineer. The Process Engineer is a key role that creates drawings for manufactured product, tooling, equipment, and facility layouts for various projects. The Process Engineer will communicate regularly with Operation and Production Managers to assess existing processes. In this role, the Process Engineer identifies, coordinates, and implements improvements in processes, tooling, and equipment to achieve cost savings and efficiency enhancements while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Create drawings for manufacturing of tooling and equipment from the initial design through the preparation of bill of materials, project cost and justification, and requisitioning of both purchased and manufactured products.
  • Solve complex problems and take on new perspectives on existing solutions.
  • Maintain and ensure the engineering change records and drawings are updated to current specifications and revision levels.
  • Ensure processes comply with best practices in safety and quality standards.
Education & Experience
  • Preferred areas of education, certifications, and skills: manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works, and office computer software.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Good analytical, interpersonal, communication, and visualization skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting environment.
