IntroductionFives Landis Corp (Gardner Abrasives) is actively seeking a Full-Time Production Operator to join its teams in South Beloit, IL. Founded in 1812, it is an international industrial engineering company that has invented and designed sustainable solutions and technologies for more than 200 years.
As a Production Operator you will join our local division, Gardner Abrasives, a global leader in high‑precision abrasive grinding wheels since 1905.
Job ContentAt Fives you will:
- Utilize proper tools, equipment and gauges to maintain safety, quality and production requirements.
- Observe all safety regulations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Location:
South Beloit, IL, a short distance from Beloit, WI or Rockford, IL.
We are seeking a candidate who possesses:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Manual dexterity required for operating tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle up to 50 pounds.
- Communicate within team and between departments at various levels.
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour.
