Stainless Steel Polisher

Job Duties

The successful candidate will perform grinding and polishing duties, including but not limited to stainless steel and mild steel products. As you are in part responsible for the finished product, pride in your work is an essential characteristic. Experience in Blending Welding to a #4 finish on sheet metal.

Responsibilities

Grind machined or welded materials to improve visual appearance using hand-held tools.

Polish external portions of machined or assembled materials using hand-held tools.

Ensure work done effectively before being moved to next step in process.

Communicate effectively with shop supervisor and co-workers regarding quality expectations.

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must:

Have Steel Polishing Experience

Experience in Blending Welding to a #4 finish on sheet metal.

Demonstrate ability to follow instructions.

Show understanding of different metal finishes.

Be willing to learn.

Possess excellent communication skills.

Demonstrate ability to use basic tools.

Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Pay based on Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
