Role Description

This full‑time, on‑site Production Scheduler role is based in South Beloit, IL. The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and internal capacity constraints. Daily activities include coordinating with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to align resources, monitor work‑in‑progress, and adjust schedules in response to changing priorities or unexpected delays. The role involves reviewing order requirements, lead times, and material availability, ensuring that inventory levels support planned production while minimizing shortages and excess stock.

The Production Scheduler will also analyze data to identify bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and communicate schedule updates clearly to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Production Schedules and Production Planning to effectively create, manage, and adjust manufacturing timelines.
  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify constraints, and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clearly convey schedule changes and priorities.
  • Candidates should possess Inventory Control skills to coordinate material availability, monitor stock levels, and reduce shortages or excess inventory.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial/aerospace environments, with familiarity in machining, casting, or prototyping operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets and scheduling tools).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or supply chain field is beneficial.
