Cardiac Cath Lab RN Opportunity – Beloit, WI

Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift

A community-focused healthcare organization in Beloit, WI is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a permanent, full-time role. This position offers predictable day shifts and long-term career growth in a supportive, close-knit clinical environment. A sign-on bonus is included

Position Overview

  • Permanent, full-time role
  • 40 hours per week
  • Day shift
  • Cerner charting experience preferred
  • 1 year of experience in ER/ICU/Cardiology, but willing to train the right candidate

Shift Details

  • Hours are 7-5:30 pm ( 10 hour days)
  • with call 7 + days per month
  • On-call schedule required with 30 minute response time.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Salary range: $71, annually (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, supporting both diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Assist with and monitor patients during TEE’s (Transesophageal Echocardiograms), ECV’s (Electrical Cardioversions), and Tilt Table Tests
  • Support implantation and management of pacemakers, ICDs, and internal loop recorder insertions
  • Prepare patients pre-procedure, including assessment, consent verification, IV access, medication administration, and patient education
  • Monitor hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs throughout procedures and recovery
  • Administer and titrate sedation, anticoagulants, and cardiac medications per protocol
  • Maintain sterile technique and assist physicians to ensure procedural efficiency and patient safety
  • Provide post-procedure care, including sheath removal, hemostasis, and complication monitoring
  • Recognize and respond to cardiac and procedural emergencies (arrhythmias, bleeding, contrast reactions)
  • Accurately document patient care using the electronic medical record (e.g., Cerner or EPIC)
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, interventional radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, ADN required, BSN preferred
  • WI RN License
  • BLS and ACLS
  • Certification in NIHSS
  • Exceptional communication and assessment skills
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team
