A dynamic company in the construction/Manufacturing industry, our client is a trusted provider of drainage, sanitary, pressure, and trench-less pipe solutions, supporting critical infrastructure projects across North America. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Quality Assurance Technician II to collaborate closely with production, engineering, and operations to ensure top-tier quality in manufactured products. You will play a key role in upholding rigorous quality standards and advancing continuous improvement in a technically driven, growth-oriented environment.

• Study and interpret quality manuals, repair procedures, codes, specifications, and technical drawings for daily operations.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and laboratory equipment for testing materials, including weld specimens and concrete samples.
• Conduct qualification testing for welders and welding operators, maintaining comprehensive test records.
• Perform dimensional, coating, concrete, and final product inspections for various manufactured components.
• Execute non-destructive examination and testing (NDE/NDT) of products using industry-standard methodologies.
• Interface with vendors for inspection and examination processes, overseeing their work as needed.
• Independently conduct internal audits and document findings for quality management.
• Prepare and maintain QA inspection reports, calibration records, production logs, and nonconformance documentation.
• Train and mentor less-experienced personnel as assigned by Quality management.
• Continually update certifications and participate in professional development within technical domains.

• Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, production, or materials testing within a construction-related environment.
• Proficiency in QA/QC processes, including in-process and final inspections, non-destructive testing, and documentation management.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory and inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thickness gauges, and holiday testers.
• Certification as Level II or equivalent in NDE/NDT (MT, PT, RT, UT, VT), AWS CWI or CAWI, ACI Field Test Technician, NACE/SPCC Coating Inspector, and/or API 510, 570, 577.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, industry specifications, and apply compliance standards.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and QA documentation processes.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school diploma, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related discipline.

• Experience in concrete, civil, coatings, welding, and specialized NDE/NDT technologies.
• Level I certification or trainee experience in technical QA domains.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Background in manufacturing quality assurance for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) implementation and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience conducting internal audits and vendor quality inspections.
• Familiarity with advanced laboratory testing processes and materials science.
• Strong technical report-writing and root cause analysis capabilities.
