General Laborer — $17.31 to $21.51/hour in 90 days Thompson Pipe Group – Pressure

Pay $17.31/hour to start $18.71/hour after 30 days $20.11/hour after 60 days $21.51/hour after 90 days— the full Laborer rate, and it is set by contract, not by a review.

Plus $2.16 for every hour you workpaid into your retirement account after 30 working days. About $4,500 a year. You pay nothing toward it.

Time and a half after 8 hours in a day, not just after 40 in a week.

Double timeon Sundays and holidays.

Sign-on Bonus: $100 bonus after 30 days, $200 at 60 days, and $300 at 90 days.

Most of our laborers work 15 to 17 hours of overtime a week. Once you are at $21.51, that overtime plus the retirement money comes to about $76,000 to $80,000 a year. During your first 90 days it comes to $62,000 to $65,000 annualized. Overtime depends on production and is not guaranteed.

Union Health & Welfare Benefits This is aunion position. Full premiums are paid to the Union Health & Welfare Fund for eligible employees, providing access to benefits that may include medical, dental, vision, prescription, and disability coverage. Eligibility and coverage are determined by the Union Health & Welfare Fund.

Company Supplemental Benefits Employees may also elect additional voluntary benefits offered through the Company, such as accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and other supplemental coverage options. Coverage for these supplemental benefits begins on the1st of the month following 30 days of employment.

Hours Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. With overtime that is about a 50-hour week, plus some Saturdays. Early start, early finish.

The Work Making and finishing concrete pipe. Tying rebar. Patching, grinding and finishing concrete. Hand tools and power tools. Moving materials.

Hot in summer, cold in winter, and not air conditioned. Lifting 35 pounds and up. Hard hat, ear protection and steel-toe boots required. The company pays half your boots, up to two pairs a year, and supplies rain and winter gear.

What We Need Show up on time every day. Work safely. Be willing to do physical work. No experience needed — we train you.
