Senior Accountant
Compensation: $65,000–$75,000
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to step into a key role. This position offers strong visibility with leadership and the opportunity to take ownership of core accounting functions in a stable, well‑run business.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:- Manage the full month‑end close process, including:
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal entries
- General ledger maintenance
- Monthly financial reporting
- Oversee job‑level or project‑based costing
- Handle tax‑related activities, including payroll and other recurring filings
- Coordinate annual insurance renewals
- Provide accounting support to leadership and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and ensure overall financial integrity
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Strong command of general ledger accounting, debits, and credits
- Experience in a role requiring independence and accountability
- Job costing or project accounting experience preferred
- High trust and visibility with leadership
- Ownership of the accounting function
- Stable organization with long‑term need in this role
