Staff Accountant - Sage Intacct & Grant Accounting

Location: South Bend, IN (100% Onsite)
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000

Are you an accounting professional with Sage Intacct experience looking to expand your expertise in grant and fund accounting? We are seeking a Staff Accountant to play a key role in financial reporting, transaction processing, grant tracking, and compliance within a collaborative, mission-driven organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked in Sage Intacct and wants to gain deeper exposure to grant accounting, fund accounting, and financial reporting.

• Process and maintain accounting transactions within Sage Intacct
• Review, code, and post vendor invoices, deposits, credit card transactions, and bank activity
• Allocate expenses across grants, departments, locations, and funding sources using Intacct dimensions
• Track grant expenditures and assist with compliance reporting
• Research discrepancies, resolve coding issues, and support month-end close activities
• Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies

• 1+ years of Sage Intacct experience required
• Experience with AP, GL, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• experience strongly preferred
• Grant accounting, fund accounting, nonprofit accounting, or multi-entity accounting experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000
