We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join a highly visible tax organization in South Bend. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA with approximately 3 years of public accounting tax experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and gain broad exposure to the tax function of a publicly traded organization.
This position will provide hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of corporate tax activities, including compliance, tax accounting, research, planning, and state and federal tax matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical tax skills, attention to detail, and the desire to grow into a Tax Manager-level leadership role over time.

Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls, and reporting.
Take ownership of increasingly complex tax projects with the goal of progressing into a management role.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as responsibilities grow.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Active CPA license required.
Approximately 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
Strong understanding of federal and state corporate taxation.
Experience with tax compliance, tax research, and/or tax provision work.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting/tax software.
Strong desire to develop into a Tax Manager and future tax leader.
This is a unique opportunity to transition from public accounting into a broad corporate tax role within a publicly traded business. Rather than being limited to a specific area of taxation, this individual will gain exposure across the entire tax function while working alongside experienced tax and finance professionals.
The organization is looking for someone with long-term potential who can grow in responsibility, take ownership of increasingly complex tax matters, and ultimately progress into a managerial position.
