Overview
The Registrar Processor is an operational, back-office support role within the Office of the Registrar, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of student records and enrollment-related administrative functions. This position supports the University’s centralized service model by performing high-volume transactional work that underpins One Stop Student Services and Records operations across all Pepperdine schools.
This position’s responsibilities are dedicated to supporting One Stop and Records administrative functions, ensuring consistent processing, data integrity, and compliance with University policies. This position also supports the broader Registrar operational needs, providing flexibility during peak academic cycles and supporting continuity of essential academic administration processes. Day-to-day priorities may shift based on operational needs, peak cycles, and service demands.
Duties- Perform high-volume back-office processing of student records transactions, including registration, enrollment, academic record updates, and authorized data changes.
- Support transcript, enrollment verification, and other official records processing. Assist with high-volume processing during peak periods (New Student Orientation, pre-registration, add/drop, grading, degree conferral).
- Support One Stop and student records workflow by identifying processing issues or discrepancies and escalate complex cases to professional staff as appropriate. Collaborate with One Stop staff to ensure timely and consistent completion of administrative requests and assist as needed with proper staff coverage.
- Execute administrative tasks that support One Stop operations, including request intake processing, documentation, tracking, and resolution workflows.
- Support general Registrar office operations, including data entry, audits, and maintenance within the student information system. Assist with document imaging, indexing, and maintenance of official student records. Participate in records cleanup, reconciliation, and quality control initiatives. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with FERPA, University policies, and records retention requirements.
- Offer flexible staffing support to ensure continuity of Registrar services during high-volume periods, including graduation and diploma services.
- Manage and audit academic calendars across all six schools. Provide consistent, student-centered service in alignment with Office of the Registrar service standards.
- Provide operational support for special projects and process improvement efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and QualificationsRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency with standard office software and ability to learn student information systems.
Preferred:
- Experience working in higher education, registrar, records, or student services.
- Prior administrative, student services, or records-processing experience.
- Familiarity with FERPA and academic records policies.
- Experience supporting high-volume administrative or transactional workflows.
- Knowledge of People Soft solutions, National Student Clearinghouse, and Etrieve.
This is a Restricted, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.
Expected Pay Range: $23.07 - $25.00 per hour
