Training Coordinator (Project Management) Job Overview
The Training Coordinator ensures training is scheduled, delivered, tracked, and documented consistently and compliantly across production and office teams. This role supports onboarding, repeat training, and qualification processes while maintaining accurate training records and escalating risks or gaps to the Training and Development Manager. The Training Coordinator's primary focus is execution, coordination, tracking, and consistency ensuring training happens as planned, correctly, and with accurate documentation.
Reports to the Training and Development Manager.
- Coordinate training rooms, materials, equipment, and logistics for training sessions.
- Communicate training schedules, reminders, and completion status to teams.
- Serve as a first point of contact for training questions and requests.
- Support training coordination across shifts, departments, and/or locations.
- Present standardized onboarding and routine training content.
- Deliver standardized onboarding and routine (non‑technical) training.
- Communicate training completions and maintain accurate training records.
- Support LMS updates, audits, and training compliance requirements.
- Assist designated trainers and subject matter experts (SMEs) with training execution, including room setup, materials, technology, and logistics.
- Assist in the creation process of content.
- Monitor training participation and completion to identify gaps or delays.
- Escalate training gaps, risks, or documentation issues to the Learning & Development Manager.
- Works overtime as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in education, training, HR, or a related field preferred.
- 13 years of experience in training coordination, HR, administrative support, or a related role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting basic training content to groups.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) required.
- Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Docebo, preferred.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, office staff, and leadership.
- Strong follow‑through skills and ability to track progress to completion.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to reconcile complex accounts.
Daily site‑to‑site travel will be necessary. Local and overnight travel may be required occasionally.
