Operations Manager
Ferguson is currently seeking a Sales Project Manager for our Waterworks Division. In this role, you will provide administrative project support for water and wastewater pump stations in the South Bend region, with occasional on‑site client visits. You will assist with project scope, specifications, monitoring progress, recommending products, ensuring on‑time delivery, coordinating vendors, and meeting project goals.
Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, ensuring timely and budget‑conscious completion.
- Complete project take‑offs and enter material lists into bidding software.
- Recommend products and services that fit client business needs.
- Execute the project according to the organization’s project management methodology and established plan.
- Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers.
- Answer branch phone calls providing outstanding customer service.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure integration into the project and timely, satisfactory product delivery.
- Supervise progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
- Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations.
- Conduct project meetings and prepare regular status reports for the project team and stakeholders.
- Allocate resources and assign tasks to meet targets.
- Provide assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects align with the plan.
- Preferred experience with construction industry products, including general construction, wastewater, or waterworks equipment.
- 2+ years of experience in Construction Project Management or as a Project Coordinator (preferred).
- 2+ years of Waterworks experience (preferred).
- Industrial or commercial plumbing experience considered.
- Familiarity with digital take‑off and estimating software such as Plan Swift or Bid Tracer (highly preferred).
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Pay Range$4,500.00 – $9,716.30
