Location: South Bend, IN – On-site role overseeing full project operations

Note: Must have 3+ years heavy highway, site development, and field construction experience; knowledge of asphalt, concrete, grading, and underground utilities preferred

Job Description
  • Develop and implement schedules and work plans for assigned projects
  • Communicate with customers and project team members to coordinate schedules, changes, and resolve issues
  • Direct field personnel to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Ensure project documentation and quantity reporting is accurate and complete
  • Develop submittals, change orders, and pay requests as assigned
  • Resolve construction problems collaboratively and proactively
  • Review and evaluate daily costs, timesheets, truck, and equipment usage
  • Monitor employee compliance with safety programs and ensure corrective measures are implemented
  • Coordinate with other departments (Quality Control, Equipment, etc.) to ensure materials, inspections, and equipment are in place
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy highway, civil, and site development projects
  • Experience with asphalt, concrete, grading, and underground utility work preferred
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office essential
  • Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
