Hazard Identification and Risk Mitigation

• Identify potential safety hazards on construction sites and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with project teams to establish site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.

• Ensure that all construction activities adhere to relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, corrective actions, and training activities.

• Promote a culture of safety by effectively communicating safety expectations and standards to all construction site personnel.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to address specific safety concerns and topics.
• Provide guidance and support to subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with safety protocols.

• Develop emergency response plans and procedures for various potential incidents, such as fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
• Coordinate with emergency services and personnel to ensure swift and effective response to emergencies.

• Analyze safety performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Propose and implement enhancements to safety programs based on lessons learned and industry best practices.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in construction safety practices.
• Demonstrates ability to work well in a team environment, ask thoughtful questions, and take initiative in learning opportunities.
• Strong observational skills and commitment to following safety protocols and procedures.
