About the Role

Currie & Brown is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager with 12+ years of construction management experience to support a major data center program in South Bend, Indiana
. This individual will serve as an extension of the client's construction leadership team, driving execution, field coordination, risk identification, stakeholder alignment, and overall project delivery across an assigned campus.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise managing large-scale mission-critical, data center, industrial, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing projects and possess the leadership skills necessary to oversee complex construction activities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support client construction leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of campus-wide construction activities.
  • Serve as an extension of the client's team, ensuring alignment between project stakeholders, contractors, and field teams.
  • Drive project execution by monitoring progress, identifying risks, resolving issues, and maintaining accountability across all parties.
  • Lead field coordination efforts and facilitate communication between contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Monitor schedule performance, construction quality, safety compliance, and overall project delivery.
  • Conduct site walks, progress meetings, and construction reviews to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and constraints.
  • Support commissioning readiness, turnover planning, and project closeout activities.
  • Maintain accurate project reporting and provide regular updates to leadership teams.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement across the construction program.
Qualifications & Education
  • 12+ years of construction management experience supporting large-scale capital construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience leading field execution for data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or large commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, risk management, scheduling, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
  • Experience working directly with owners, general contractors, and trade partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning readiness, turnover, and project closeout processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management tools.
  • Data center or hyperscale construction experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
