Construction Project Superintendent and Project Management Staff
As a Construction General Laborer/Foreman, you will work alongside the Construction Superintendent and carry out the daily duties and responsibilities assigned in order for the construction performance of field operations which includes:
Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project. You will provide leadership and help serve the Superintendent as the liaison with project team members and vendors, subcontractors and suppliers, as well as demonstrate the characteristics of a Real America Construction Professional.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable private transportation
- College degree in construction field or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in multi-family housing construction
- Ability to master project-specific software systems including, but not limited to:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Outlook, Procore, Blue Beam and/or Adobe software - Experience working with smartphones, iPads, and tablets.
- Ability to work with numerous contractors and subcontractors in an efficient manner.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification or the ability to obtain.
- CPR/AED Certification or the ability to obtain.
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth and back filling holes.
- Operating and tending machinery and heavy equipment.
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
- Drive cost-effective punch-list repairs and coordination in the field.
- Plan and coordinate punch work, turns and additional field work with the Project Manager and Superintendent. Maintain a daily job site log, collect, and process daily reports and photos of work completed.
- Coordinate all construction, activities, and subcontractors for the scope of work while collaborating with the onsite Superintendent and Project Manager.
- Monitor project status and maintain appropriate building and on-site control and on-site representation to expectations.
- Monitor and direct daily job site clean-up activities to always ensure a safe work environment.
Order/requisition materials, supplies, tools, and schedule equipment rentals as needed.
