Superior and our tri-venture, CST, is looking for an Estimator who will be responsible for interpreting drawings, reading specifications, change order pricing, and performing takeoffs on certain items. This role operates primarily in the field and requires close coordination with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all scope changes and impacts are captured, documented, and aligned with project goals.

This role is based on a jobsite in South Bend, Indiana.

• Read and understand contract drawings and project specifications
• Review RFIs, bulletins, and field directives to identify scope changes
• Perform quantity takeoffs based on updated drawings and field conditions
• Develop scopes of work for change orders, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements
• Support change order pricing using labor units, historical data, and field-verified productivity
• Coordinate with field teams to validate installation methods and production rates
• Track and document change events from identification through resolution
• Maintain an up-to-date change order log, including pending, approved, and disputed items
• Prepare clear and organized cost backup for change order submissions
• Assist in identifying schedule impacts related to scope changes
• Support time-and-material (T&M) tracking, including field tickets and installed quantities
• Collaborate with project management and Tri-Venture partners to ensure alignment

• Exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction, contracting, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and industry standards
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field (bonus)
