Construction Scheduler

Construction Scheduler plays a vital role in managing time and resources on a construction project to ensure work is completed on time. The scheduler creates master development schedules, cost and resource loaded baseline schedules, monitors updates, analyzes change order impacts, performs time impact analysis for delay claims, and prepares monthly schedule reports.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and update master development schedules and fully resource and cost loaded baseline schedules.
  • Document and monitor project tasks and schedules, backing up schedule files in a timely, organized manner.
  • Interface with project management, owner, and subcontractors on scheduling issues, reporting requirements, and progress status.
  • Prepare what‑if schedules to analyze impacts of construction methods and means.
  • Support teams in documenting delays, assessing impacts, and proposing schedule recovery alternatives and mitigation strategies.
  • Perform time impact analyses for change order requests and delay claims.
  • Prepare monthly schedule update reports, schedule narratives, and performance dashboards.
  • Maintain quality assurance and control on assigned project schedules and collaborate with team members.
Qualifications
  • BS in Engineering, Business, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience as a Scheduler or Project Controls Manager on construction projects.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and project management software:
    Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, ASTA Power project.
  • Extensive Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Strong oral and written communication, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
Physical & Work Environment

Indoor office environment, occasional on-site visits. Requires use of a computer and telephone.
