Pay Range: $220,000 – $280,000*

- Estimated total compensation includes base salary, vehicle allowance, project-based per diem, and eligibility for an annual incentive. Actual total compensation will vary depending on project location and travel requirements.
Superior and our tri-venture, CST, is looking for a Traveling Senior Project Manager to help drive our electrical construction projects forward across the Midwest.
The Traveling Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing construction projects, scheduling resources, ensuring that budgets and timelines are met, and working closely with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure the successful progress and completion of the project.
This role will begin on a jobsite in South Bend, Indiana, with the opportunity to support future projects in other markets as business needs evolve.

This role requires flexibility and willingness to travel and temporarily reside near project sites for extended project assignments. Potential jobsite locations may include Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, and/or Wisconsin.
This position is only open to candidates whose permanent primary residence is one of the following states:
Indiana (beyond 90 miles of New Carlisle, Indiana) Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
- Lead our project team(s) and provide clear communication and guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives
- Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
- Maintain and grow the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
- Oversee all project finance requirements and lead the team through accurate billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete
- Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
- Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
- Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
- Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
- Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite
- You’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail
- You’re a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our job sites and organization
- You’re effective at interfacing with customers and executives
- You’re a leader and are effective at motivating and mentoring junior colleagues
- Required:
You have at least 8 years of Project Operations experience in commercial construction - Bonus Points:
You have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Construction Management certificate; or have equivalent field or project experience on a commercial construction site - Bonus Points:
You have experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+ - Bonus Points:
You have extensive knowledge in construction management software - Bonus Points:
You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
