ABC
57 in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking an experienced Anchor/Reporter to join the morning news team.

• Personable and versatile communicator with exceptional anchoring, reporting, and writing skills
• Natural leader and mentor
• Passion for news and enterprise storytelling and excels at breaking news coverage on the desk and in the field
• Embraces social media and always has a sense of urgency

• Anchors newscasts and contributes to writing, reporting, and copy editing
• Evaluates news leads and tips to develop story ideas
• Contributes to our website and social media platforms
• Shoots, writes, and edits stories as assigned
• Participates in station outreach as needed, such as classroom visits, sponsored events
• Other duties, as assigned

• Three plus years of anchoring experience
• Degree in Journalism or related field required
• Strong news judgment and the ability to engage audiences on all platforms
• Ability to operate a broadcast camera and experience editing video
• Strong enterprise reporting and passionate about covering local news
• Excels in live coverage, field anchoring, and special project development
• A positive attitude and team player mindset
