Incumbent serves as a front-line person in dealing with park patrons answering questions, phone calls, and collecting fees.
Responsibilities- Collect gate entry fees, sell annual gate entry passes
- Serve as weekend receptionist by answering telephone and answering patron questions and directing calls to appropriate staff
- Distribute park literature and answer questions regarding shelter, park programs, events, hours, fees, etc.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Must have adequate transportation to commute to work
- Ability to establish and maintain effective public relations
- Ability to operate a POS system
- Cash register experience is preferred
- Ability to operate cash registers, credit card machines, and telephone
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear; stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; and sit.
