Be the friendly face that welcomes every guest to the Kroc Center! As a Welcome Desk Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist members and visitors, answer questions, and help create a warm, positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

As the Welcome Desk Associate I you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer services experiences. Primary responsibilities include selling and/or verifying membership's program registrations as well as providing facility information, answering, and routing all incoming phone calls, ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.

• Provide world class customer service to the community by building lasting relationships so support membership retention through exceptional service and follow up, with an attitude of Christian hospitality
• Perform point of sales (POS) transactions at the Welcome Desk.
• Be an ambassador for the Kroc Center by giving tours, promoting the center and selling memberships.
• Maintain progressive knowledge of all programs and facilities.
• Enter all membership information accurately and in timely manner.
• Follow all policies and procedures for the Welcome desk and POS system
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• Background Checks:
  Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in customer service and cash handling related industries.
• Certifications:
  
  Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training and CPR Certification within the first 30 days of employment.
• Skills/Abilities:
  Able to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership, field personnel, and clientele. Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and ability to learn electronic reporting systems.

Work is performed in an office environment; may require some weekend and evening work
