Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, BE/BC Electrophysiologist to join a large, dynamic, multidisciplinary Cardiology group of CV surgeons, Non‑Invasive Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Cardiologists in Fort Wayne, IN. With our own heart transplant program and research opportunities within our research organization, we provide the full spectrum of cardiology care to northeast Indiana.

Our facility has 2 EP labs, 1 hybrid lab, and the latest imaging technology, equipped with three mapping systems:
Carto, ESI, and Rhythmia. EP procedures include Cryo, RF AFib, Cardiofocus Laser Balloon PVI, Convergent AF Ablations, VT Ablations with Impella support and epicardial approach, and Laser lead extractions. We also perform AFib procedures and have experience with Watchman.

Call is limited to EP only and is shared equally among physicians during the day; no night call. EP candidates should be well versed in both basic and advanced EP procedures and device implementation, with interest and competence in complex ablations including VT, AFib, and laser lead extractions.

Physicians are supported by an APP trained in hospital rounding, triage, and assisting in procedures with closing and ILR implants. The team includes a NP, RNs (including an AFib navigator), procedure scheduler, and CMAs, plus highly trained EP staff of RNs and RTs.

Experienced, BE/BC Electrophysiologist with competence in complex ablations, including VT, AFib, and laser lead extractions. Watchman experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of advanced EP procedures and device implementation.
