Elementary High Ability Tutor

Contract Length: 2025 - 2026 School Year
Hourly Rate: $22.00
Reports to:
High Ability Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Elementary High-Ability tutor works directly with identified high-ability students in literacy, math, and STEM to deliver advanced and accelerated instruction tailored to their academic needs.
Essential Functions:
* Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects and students up to 40 pounds.
* Physical stamina for standing, bending, squatting, or walking for long periods.
* Hand-Eye Coordination:
Especially for lifting, stacking, or operating machinery.
* Repetitive Motions:
Tolerance for repetitive tasks without injury or fatigue.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma
* Previous experience with children or students with special needs.
* Demonstrated ability to work well with others and understand individual students' needs
* Ability to accurately record and summarize data
* Willingness to participate in pre and ongoing training programs
* Understand the individual needs of students
