Position Title: Science Teacher
Position Summary: Teacher will be responsible for instruction of science students. Strong classroom management will be required to maintain a positive classroom environment during labs. Candidate should have experience with working with chemicals and hands‑on materials that are included in the Purdue Science Kits. Candidate will need to work collaboratively with the Language Arts, Math and Social Studies teachers.
Immediate Supervisor: Principal
Duties: Teach general science/chemistry according to the Indiana Department of Education Science Standards.
Qualifications: Science License or Science Endorsement 5-12, Highly qualified. Applicants must not have been evaluated as ineffective or recommended for probation assistance on their most recent evaluation.
