The 5th Grade Teacher will create a faith-filled, engaging, and academically rigorous classroom that supports the development of the whole child. As a key transitional year, this role also helps prepare students for middle school by building independence, organization, and strong academic habits.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Indiana Teaching License or eligibility.
• Elementary teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to a safe, nurturing, and faith-centered learning environment.
• Dedication to partnering with parents in supporting each child’s growth.
• Spanish proficiency or experience with English Language Learners is a plus.
• Passion for Catholic education and building a strong school community.

Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with curriculum and standards.

Integrate Catholic values into daily teaching and classroom life.

Support students’ spiritual, academic, and social growth.

Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.

Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents.

Collaborate with elementary and middle school teams to align expectations and support a smooth transition to middle school.

Participate in school-wide events, liturgies, and activities.

Implement effective classroom management and differentiate instruction as needed.
