Project Lead the Way Teacher/Magnet Coordinator
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
Differentiate instruction to meet individual student learning styles
Update the curriculum to meet changing Indiana state standards
Update the curriculum to meet current industry standards
Work with high school magnet programs to establish vertical program alignment
Organize an advisory committee and hold a minimum of two meetings per school year
Manage the behavioral, social, and emotional issues of a diverse ethnic/racial student population
Integrate Indiana Academic Standards for reading, writing, and math skills
Actively participate in ongoing professional development and professional learning
Demonstrate experience implementing innovative instructional programs
Recruit current and out of district students to the PLTW program
Maintain open communication with administrators of all intermediate centers
Maintain and update district/school data bases
Maintain state and federal reporting requirements
Maintain data on program effectiveness
Must hold a valid secondary science teaching license
Prior teaching experience
Curriculum and organizational skills required
Flexible, positive, and proactive in the ability to manage teaching and leadership
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must hold a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift and move equipment
Knowledge of current technology and PLTW related curriculum software
