Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as an onsite school psychologist. This role focuses on fostering the growth of Pre-K students by delivering behavioral intervention services and guiding successful transitions into the school environment. As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you’ll help cultivate school readiness, positive classroom behaviors, and strong family partnerships, all within a supportive and collaborative setting.

  • Valid certification and credentials as a School Psychologist for Indiana.
  • Experience with early childhood or Pre-K populations preferred.
  • Skill in behavioral intervention, progress monitoring, and caregiver collaboration.
  • Knowledge of transition programming, especially First Step Transition or similar interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative abilities for working with students, families, and staff.
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary evaluations (experience with OT, PT, SLP, Autism Consultants, etc., is a plus).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide First Step Transition behavioral intervention services to Pre-K students, strengthening school readiness and social-emotional skills.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral coaching, teacher and family consultation, and progress monitoring practices.
  • Deliver direct support for Preschool Evaluations in a team setting, working closely with families and other specialists.
  • Foster effective transitions for students entering the school environment, collaborating with the SNAP program and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 Pre-K students and adjust as needed throughout the contract year.
  • Occasionally, flexibility beyond the typical 35-hour week may be necessary to meet student and family needs.

This contract runs from August 14, 2026, through June 4, 2027. If your expertise and passion align with early childhood behavioral support and you’re excited to work on-site with dedicated professionals, we welcome your application.
