Company Description
South Bend Code School works to eliminate barriers between people, technology, and jobs by introducing youth to coding and digital skills. South Bend Code School's after-school programs serve students in grades 2–12, building real skills in coding, AI, and digital problem-solving through hands‑on, project‑based work. We are looking for mentors who are interested in having a lasting impact. For a lot of our students, SBCS is their varsity sport, their student club, the thing they look forward to all week.
We're looking for mentors who want to be part of that: the first line of code, the game they can't believe they built, and the room where they finally belong.
The Tech Mentor is a contract, on-site role based in South Bend, IN. This role involves teaching coding and technology concepts to youth. The Tech Mentor will also collaborate with staff to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment and communicate with program coordinators about student achievements and needs.
